How to automatically close form after submit?

How to automatically close form after submit?

Hello, I was glad i was able to place aicontactsafe on a pop-up window. But I wonder if it is possible to have an automatic close of the form after it sends the form entry. Im only aware of the redirect feature. but im not sure about auto-close.. Hope somebody can help.  But seems to me that it is always Alex who give answers to this forum, so advance thanks to Alex.  smile  He is always ready to help and really know the details of his extension. smile

Can you post a link to the page where the pop-up with the extension starts ?

Re: How to automatically close form after submit?

hi alex, here is my sample page. when you click the item, there is a link "Bestil". When you click it, it will pop-out the form. I have read about your suggestion on joomla forum to redirect it on a page with script that will close the window. but the problem is FF does not support javascript window.close(); function so it cannot close automatically.

Then you can only redirect to an article with a thank you message and a "Close" button.

Or you can try adding the contact form on the same window at that pop-up with the product and hide it after it is submitted.
But this requires some tricky coding and changing of the extension's code as well as the page displaying that product.

maybe that's the best thing i can do for now. thank you, and a big close window button. smile Thanks Alex.  really nice component. but I'm still familiarizing it. I know it has more to offer that the basic thing I'm doing on this page.

Will mark this topic solved, but fill free to ask more questions if you have them.
Preferably in a different topic if they are not related with this one. smile
