- Possible BUG -

All the module is displaying for me is:
aiContactSafe module

...

I have latest version of aiContactSafe & just installed the module.

running Joomla 2.5.4

What could be the problem that could be causing this? "..." is not much of an error message to go on.

This is discussed in several topics on the forum. :)
You have a javascript conflict with mootools ( the default javascript library of joomla ) on your site.
You need to identify what is causing it and fix it or replace it.

I have searched the forum and found nothing...there needs to be a sticky made for this or something so more and more topics won't be made.

Anyway, how can there be conflicts on nothing but your module? I am only using default js with the addition of AddThis, Disqus & Google Webfont...none of that should conflict at all. There isn't any JQuery vs Mootools or anything so I seriously doubt it is my site's fault rather than the module's fault. If it happened with more than that I could see your point but one single module is erroring...kind of have to go with it is probably that module.

Joomla = 2.5.4
Javascript = Default (untouched), Disqus, AddThis, Google Webfont

The reason I dont believe the site has a conflict is because I haven't even launched it yet so there isnt a chance of any excess code being added by anyone and I know all the stuff I've built for it.

Try it on an empty joomla site ( only with the sample data in it ) without any other extension and with one of the default template. The module is working and it is used for years now.

This has nothing to do with what you or somebody else installed on Joomla and generated a javascript conflict.
If you give me a link to the page with the problem I'll try to give you more details.

sentineltax.com/index.php/contact

Edit: I decided to use the component via menus option instead which is working for the most part but the CAPTCHA is not working at all either...I also have left the module to display to show that it is not working at all.

Edit 2: I disabled each piece of javascript on my site one at a time to find the conflict...to no avail. It is listed on the site as compatible with 1.7.x...is it not compatible with 2.5.x?

1 - CAPTCHA is requiring javascript. So if you have a javascript conflict on your site CAPTCHA will not work.

2 - Where does it say is compatible only with 1.7 ? I think I changed all the text to 2.5 since 1.7 is no longer supported, so if I miss one place please let me know.

You can see the component working fine with 2.5.4 on our contact form.
